Pint of Science is coming to Kiel!
Since 2020 the Cluster of Excellence PMI supports Pint of Science in Kiel. This year, the festival will take place over three days:
- May 13th at Studio Filmtheater
- May 14th at Jack`s Kitchen
- May 15th at Hansa48
What do decapitated skeletons from the Neolithic and cardiology have in common? Both topics will be discussed at Kiel’s Pint of Science festival!
Pint of Science is a worldwide science festival that invites researchers to local pubs and bars to share their knowledge with a broader audience (so you don’t even need to know anything about the topic beforehand!). Every year in May volunteers organise events in different cities, motivated by their passion for science communication. Our expert speakers will take you on a journey through the latest research and discoveries in their fields, sharing their insights and answering your burning questions. There will be three speakers at each event - But that's not all! We've also got a pop quiz with nice prizes, a raffle with amazing giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make new friends over a cold beer. Whether you're a science buff, or just looking for a great night out, Pint of Science has something for everyone. Please note that the events will be held in English.
